September: The Future of Water (September 26 @ 2pm ET)

A panel discussion on recent supreme court rulings – Sackett v. EPA and Arizona v. Navajo Nation – and the implications for communities and ecosystems.

The discussion will provide high level overviews of each case, delve into issues ranging from water rights, water quality, aquifers, impact of climate change on ecological systems, and more.

Panelists will include Jeff Lapp (Senior Science Policy Advisor at National Association of Wetland Managers), Dr. Crystal Tulley-Cordova (Principal Hydrologist, Navajo Nation Department of Water Resources), Dr. Joel Sholtes ( Colorado Mesa University, Department of Civil, Environmental, and Architectural Engineering), Alex Funk (Policy Director of Water Resources & Senior Council, Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership), and Michelle Brown-Yazzie (Assistant Attorney General for the Navajo Nation Department of Justice Water Rights Unit).
